Car Rental – Terms & Conditions

Ages

Vehicle categories are restricted based on the driver’s age. When entering your age during booking, only eligible vehicles will be displayed. All additional drivers are required to meet the same age and licensing requirements as the primary driver. Non-compliance may result in the limitation of insurance coverage.

Driver’s License

Must be issued at least 12 months prior to rental. Renters with driving licenses established in another alphabet than the Roman alphabet (for example Arabian, Russian etc) need to present an international driving license in addition to their national license.

Car groups

The assignment of models to the different car groups may vary depending the season and the destination. Reservations can only be confirmed according to the car groups available. The models named are only meant to be examples in size and equipment and stand for similar models within a car group.

Delivery / Collection Costs

-Delivery /Collection is free of charge for Skiathos and Volos offices.
-For Skiathos airport reservations, a mini van will transport you at the Alpha parking area, free of charge.
-For hotel/accommodation: our staff will deliver your vehicle directly at your location.

Vehicle Return

We recommend to return the vehicle during the opening hours of the return location. Vehicle return outside the opening hours is possible, but needs to be discussed with the chosen return location.

One way rentals

One way rentals are accepted within our destinations. One way rentals are usually subject to a charge, because the vehicle needs to be returned to the pick up location. One way charges are to be paid locally.

Road Assistance Service

In Skiathos, Skopelos, and Alonissos, Alpha Rentals provides free roadside assistance in the event of engine failure or accident, provided that ferry insurance has been selected in advance.
Just dial the service number that is written on your rental contract and one of our representatives will come with a service team to repair the damage or replace the vehicle.

Fuel

• The car is delivered with a full tank.
• Should the renter return the car with a full tank there will be no extra charge for fuel.
• Should the renter return the car with less fuel, he will be charged the cost of the missing fuel, no refueling charges are applied.
• The renter may pay for a tank of fuel up front, at a price competitive to the local petrol station and he may return the car empty tank. However, fuel left in the tank is not reimbursable.

Accident Administration Fee

In case of an accident, the renter is obliged to pay a fee of  50.00 Euros for administration expenses, which is non-refundable.
