Minimum Age
Drivers must be at least 21 years old for all scooter categories and ATV vehicles from 150cc to 300cc.
For all remaining ATV categories, drivers must be at least 25 years old.
All additional drivers must meet the same age and licensing requirements as the main driver.
Driver’s License
Drivers must hold a valid driving license issued at least 12 months prior to the rental date.
It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that they hold the appropriate license for the selected vehicle category.
A valid Category A driving license is required for scooters and motorcycles. ATV/Quad vehicles may also be driven with a standard car driving license, where legally permitted.
Drivers holding licenses issued in a non-Latin alphabet (for example Arabic, Russian, Chinese, etc.) must present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to their national driving license.
Digital international driving permits are accepted only if verifiable through an official website or government portal. Photos, screenshots or unverifiable copies will not be accepted.
Drivers holding licenses issued outside the European Union are advised to contact us in advance to confirm eligibility.
Scooter, Motorcycle & ATV Groups
Vehicle models may vary depending on season, destination and availability.
Reservations are confirmed based on the selected vehicle category, not a specific model. Displayed models are provided for reference only and represent vehicles of similar size, specifications and equipment.
Helmets
We provide a wide range of standard helmets included in the rental, available in different sizes and types.
All helmets are cleaned and sanitized after each use.
Premium helmets of higher quality may also be available upon request with an additional charge (please refer to the price list).
To ensure the best possible service, we recommend informing us of your helmet size before arrival.
Helmets must be returned in the same condition in which they were provided. In the event of damage, loss or conditions affecting the helmet’s safety or usability, the renter may be required to cover the replacement cost of a new helmet.
Vehicle Delivery & Collection
Delivery and collection are free of charge in Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos (municipal offices).
For Skiathos Airport reservations, a complimentary shuttle service will transfer customers to the Alpha Rentals parking area.
Vehicle delivery to hotels or accommodations may also be available upon request.
For other locations, please contact us to confirm availability and any additional charges.
Vehicle Return
We recommend returning the vehicle during the opening hours of the selected return location.
Out-of-hours returns may be available upon prior arrangement with our staff.
One-Way Rentals
One-way rentals are available between our destinations.
In some cases, an additional vehicle transfer fee may apply and must be paid locally.
Roadside Assistance
Skiathos, Skopelos e Alonissos
Alpha Rentals provides free roadside assistance in case of mechanical failure or technical vehicle support.
Simply call the service number stated in your rental agreement and our team will assist by repairing or replacing the vehicle if necessary.
For vehicles transported by ferry, coverage depends on the prior selection of ferry insurance.
Volos
Roadside assistance is available during office working hours only (no service on Sundays).
Coverage applies within Volos city center and up to a 15 km radius.
For cases such as vehicle damage, accidents, flat tires or situations attributable to driver responsibility, an additional charge of €40 + taxes may apply.
Cancellation Policy
If your plans change, you may modify or cancel your reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, receiving a full refund.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before pick-up, the equivalent of a minimum of one rental day will be retained, while the remaining amount will be refunded.
Reservations will be automatically cancelled 1 hour after the scheduled pick-up time if the customer has not contacted us regarding any delay.
